There's a war going on, all around us. A war that is fought every year, that sometimes gets violent, with flashes of light, rumbles of thunder, hailstones, flash floods.
But some battles are quiet.
You have to pay attention…
you have to open your eyes to notice the green growing stronger day by day
with reinforcements popping up left and right
winning the battlefield
pushing the gray and the brown back, back until
finally, Spring declares victory.

Love it! Same happening around here. I fought (and won) the battle today when I drove by one of my favorite spots that sells plants…Congo’s nursery…best known for its bouginvilla..OMG, evey color, blooming like crazy in huge pots and arches! Breathtaking….But Keith made me promise to wsait as he has big plans for our beds where we lost SO MUCH! So much work over the past 4 years and so much just gone!!! BUT…..an opportunity to change some things up. THink we want to plant bigger palms and get some of these bouginvilla that we saw so much of in Maui. Oh if we only had the weather they had…what things would look like…But I’ll settle for what we have..It’s home. I’m going to send you a check tomorrow i promise…Tell me though, where is the best and closest place for us to stay? I want to go ahead and call and get us a room….Do you know if any of the girls are coming alone from this area??? Love ya!!! Keep writing!!!
