I love waking up to moonlight splashing across the floor. It draws me outside, captures me in its spell and makes me late for work.
Worth it, though. I finally captured the Morning Moon's photograph earlier this week; after a dozen bad shots, he took pity on me and smiled…

Thanks! It's just a Nikon D40X. I used a Nikor 70-300mm zoom lens.

Oh, believe me, Tom didn't pay that much for it! Half that or even less. It was a splurge for sure, though – my birthday and Christmas! And the lens came the next year. You need to find cheaper places to shop or learn to catch some sales, Lynn!
I say 'just' because it's the bottom of the Nikon 'D's – but it's more than enough for me!
