Our oldest, Tommy, and his girlfriend, Kirby, came in last night. We had a fun evening – spent some time talking on the front porch… Tom fixed fajitas… Tommy mixed up some "Red-Headed Bitch" margaritas (the mix was one of Kirby's graduation gifts) that tasted a lot like cherry sno-cones… and then we watched a movie (The Men Who Stare at Goats… it was entertaining, but I'm glad I didn't pay full price at the theater to see it.)

But then today…I'm not sure how this happened, but it's a beautiful Saturday and the kids are all off tubing the San Marcos River while Tom and I are left at home puppy-sitting  and doing chores!

We made sure the pups had a fun day, anyway.

If the time ever comes, I think we'll make good grandparents.

what type of dogs are your tan and black ones? we have a dog identical to yours except she has perky ears. she’s a rescue dog and we don’t know her background.

They're all originally strays, so we're not sure of their exact lineage, but the smallest one (our grandpuppy ๐Ÿ™‚ is a Rottweiler-terrior mix. The middle size one is Rottweiler mixed with (the vet's best guess) hound dog and and Jack Russell (because she loves to jump and grins.) The big one is German Shepherd and Great Dane, we think.
Kudos to you for rescuing a puppy!! They make the best pets, I believe!
