I heard Robert Bly tell the story once he had a poem with the line, “age may come, death may come” and he showed it to Galway Kinnell, who said, “Death MAY come?” Bly changed the line just like you did.

It's caliche – a combination of rock and sand. The flowers just grow straight up out of it – these pinks and some brilliant little yellow ones. Amazing! And very inspiring!
