Long Hollow

Yep, it's the weekend! And, man, am I glad to see him….her…it. Whatever. I'm just glad it's Friday!

I'm playing hooky from work (with permission) to attack my to-do lists and try to perform miracles. Yeah, yeah, I know I was off Wednesday because of the snow, but it kept me so mesmerized that I didn't accomplish much more than take lots and lots of photos. Actually, I did write for several hours, too, but today is not a stay-home-to-write day. I would love one of those, but my life has become like a clogged up creek: it's time for me to slip on some gloves and start clearing the brush out of the way so it can flow again. I've already cleared quite a bit; it was time for a little coffee/blogging break.

I tricked myself this morning when the alarm went off…I pretended I was still going to work. Otherwise, knowing I had the whole day off, I would have just rolled over and snoozed a bit more. I'm wise to myself, though, and have learned how to get around some of my worst habits.

This past week kept us hopping…I wonder what the next one holds!

Shorts-weather on Sunday, helping our friend Tom D. (I snapped this as I drove away, skipping out to head to the grocery store…Tom D.'s wife Berniece, my Tom and neighbor John. I'm such a slacker!)

I've already posted snow day pictures, but here are a couple from my walk with the critters on the day after…

I spotted several snowmen on my way to work, hanging on despite the sunshine (they were still there yesterday morning, defiantly standing their ground in the middle of grassy yards!)
