"If we are ever in doubt about what to do, it is a good rule to ask ourselves what we shall wish on the morrow that we had done."

~John Lubbock

Balancing the "need-to"s and the "want-to"s… it's a continual challenge. I believe both are important, but I still catch myself feeling guilty for the "want-to"s.

This quote put it back in perspective for me; this morning I played my drums and tonight I went to the Hootenanny, just because I wanted to. Just because I knew tomorrow I'd wish that I had.

Each morning I take the time to walk my puppies because I know if I don't, I'll regret it. My favorite photos this week are two of Belle and Max that I think capture their sweet goofiness and the love they have for each other.

I'm so glad we gave in and got Max a puppy. I know he and Belle are happy about it, too.

What would we do without dogs in our lives? Or, perhaps it’s HOW would we be without them? For me, my world would be more shades of grey without that rainbow hue and, I’d miss having that canine reminder to always live in the present moment.

Very true – I know mine remind me to appreciate the simple things around me. They keep me grounded.

Thank you! I think so, too, but I know I'm partial.
