Morning rain, cooler temperatures, snuggling under the covers, sleeping late.

No Black Friday shopping for this family.

Football on the television. Feet propped up. Empty coffee cups, and more percolating. More dessert. More coffee. Afternoon sunshine. Long walks

Brother snoozing in the recliner. Mother, sister, son sharing stories at the table. Baby napping in the front room, worn out from entertaining and charming the crowd. Cousins and siblings reconnecting.

Daddy zipping from room to room, doing laundry, doing dishes, refusing help with anything. Busy. Happy.

A house full of generations, memories, left-over ham, turkey, and pumpkin pie.

More blessings for which to be grateful.

Happy Day After!

Nope! You’re not the only ones! I never have participated in Black Friday Madness. I just love the days you described too much to give them up :o) Glad you enjoyed yours!

Yay! I'm finding more and more of us that would rather sleep in and prolong the peacefulness (laziness? gluttony? lol) of Thanksgiving Day! I hope you had a beautiful one!
