I'm going to spend this day celebrating Tom – we'll have the boys and Kirby here (TG is still mired in finals and studying, poor baby), eat pizza and cheesecake, go for walks with the puppies and (fingers crossed) play some ping-pong.
But this is Tom's day. I think he also mentioned finishing up work on the Suzuki so he could take it for a drive in the back roads (it's been over a year since he's driven it) or perhaps take the canoe on out while Lake Travis is still a lake.
It's a gorgeous day (thank you, God!) so whatever we do, we'll be outside.
Happy 54th birthday, sweetie. I'm grateful you're in my life and I hope to be able to celebrate at least 54 more birthdays with you!
