While you sit where ever you sit on Saturday mornings, reading this, I'm soaking my drought-dusty body in the cool water of a friend's backyard pool, frozen margarita in hand.
This is a Diva weekend, when girls I grew up with congregrate to catch up on each other's lives in a way that Facebook and emails just can't compare to… face-to-face with music, food and margaritas (or wine or soda or whatever…) and a whole weekend of talking, talking, talking.
It's purely therapeutic, of course.
Here are a few of us last year, deep into one of our therapy sessions.

Now for my Sweet!s of the Week:
Saturday: meeting a writing deadline (whew!)
Sunday: being able to pick up a phone and hear your Daddy's voice
Monday: a hug from your oldest child after a month of only calls or emails
Tuesday: being Chairperson of a committee full of go-getting, "tell me what I can do to help" people.
Wednesday: waking to the sweet sound of rain on the roof that went on and on and on…
Thursday: shopping with your daughter
Friday: finally meeting someone face-to-face who you've only known, up until that moment, through typed words and shared photographs
Saturday: floating in a sun-kissed swimming pool surrounded by friends who have known you forever (and still like you most of the time!)
