You circle the date on the calendar. You count the days until you can leave. You just can't wait for that special date to arrive!
And then (you probably guessed it because it happens to you, too) … the time flies and that special weekend is over way too fast.
This was one to remember, though. I'd get an 'A' in "Uses time wisely" if I still got report cards… catching up with friends, visiting with my parents, hanging out by a pool, taking lots of photographs… that was my weekend.
So today, even as I stepped back into the swift stream of life, I'm playing catch-up on everything else – laundry, photos, blogs (both writing and reading)…
That's another problem with fun weekends, all that catching up afterwards.
