Despite my gratitude for rain while we're in this drought, it's really tough for me to embrace day after day after day of the constant cold, wet stuff like we had earlier this week.  I was so happy when sunshine finally returned Friday afternoon.

But now I'm ready for more rain. Those four days of rain actually made a difference – our ponds have water again! However, the big one is still about twenty feet low, and the waterfalls aren't falling, so come back soon, Rainy Days! I will welcome you with open arms!

I’m sure it’s a relief to see your pond filling up again. Drought is a worry. That house is.. decadent! I hope you sell it. 🙂

I was so happy to see the water. It had dried up and I just quit looking at it. It was a wonderful surprise!

Water during a drought is the sweetest sweet. My sweets came from messages from my granddaughters while I languished at home as a shut-in with a nasty virus.

you know how I seem to have songs pop in my head? Your title had me looking up “You Don’t Miss Your Water” by The Byrds.
Institute for Luxury Home Marketing – I never knew such a group existed. So are luxury buyers the fussiest ones?

Ooooo that reading corner is just the reason I would consider buying such a house. Such a place of quiet and reflection.

Water is always. And, yes, sometimes it can be too much, but rather have too much rain than too little. At least that’s my opinion.

We've had floods here before, but I agree with you. I'd rather have too much than too little!
